Episode #10: Leaning in, giving yourself permission + embracing your sacred feminine with Steph Jagger
Welcome to Episode number 10 of the Femme Boss Podcast!
Today’s guest is Steph Jagger - author, coach and world record smasher who splits time between Southern California and British Columbia, where she dreams big dreams, writes her heart out, and runs an executive and life-coaching practice.
She believes, rather foolhardily, in the mantra: Know Thyself, Choose Thyself, Make Shit Happen.
In 2010 she began a journey that found her walking that exact talk…or perhaps a better way of putting it would be “skiing that exact talk.”
From July of 2010 to May of 2011 Steph chased winter around the globe. She wound up breaking the record for the most vertical feet skied in a year and went on a journey of personal transformation. In the time since, she’s written a book about it.
Unbound: A Story of Snow and Self-Discovery, came out January of this year and I’m super excited sharing this juicy conversation with I had with Steph about her epic journey.
In this episode, we talk about the prompts in her life that led her to take on such an huge challenge in the first place; the real ‘self-discovery’ journey that took place over the course of her adventure; what learning to lean in to your intuition actually looks like; what happened when she embraced her sacred feminine; and how she knew she needed to transform every part of her life once she came face to face with her truth.
I have to admit, today’s show really hit home for me because I too was one of those people who had a so-called “perfect life” on paper but who was slowly dying on the inside from not stepping up to live in alignment with my truth. I found myself relating with everything Steph shares in this episode. If this is something that sounds eerily familiar to you, then you’re going to love this show!
